莊丁坤   Chuang, Ting-Kun   1959~

Born in Yunlin, Taiwan, 1959, Chuang, Ting-Kun is talented in painting and clay since his childhood. After graduating from middle school in 1974, he went to Hualien to become an apprentice in sculpture companies. In his early creation the themes are diverse and complex, but he began to focus on buffaloes after 1993, transferring the memory of childhood and his fondness towards Taiwanese buffaloes to stone sculptures. Moreover, he also participated in Hualien International Stone Sculpture Festival-International Stone Sculpture Joint Exhibition in 2003.
